Hello, I'm Ralph Coolman. I am Assoicate Director for Community Collaborations at Washington State University's International Programs Research and Development (IPR&D). The primary mission of IPR&D is to strengthen the internationalization of Washington State University through world-class contributions to education, research, and development across the globe. We meet that mission by:
- Enriching the experiences and contributions of students, faculty, and departments by increasing opportunities to participate in education, research, and outreach abroad.
- Forging mutually beneficial alliances and partnerships in competitively securing grants and contracts to facilitate and support participation in these activities.
- Incorporating international perspectives and content into teaching, research, and public service functions of the University, making education at WSU relevant to present world conditions that will ultimately benefit the host country, the United States, the state of Washington, and the University
As Assoiciate Director for Community Collaborations I get to travel around the world to some of the most interesting and neediest places. You can use this page to look at reports from my efforts.
